The Least You Can Do

Is it unreasonable to suggest that we–you, me, all of us–have a duty to do what we can to preserve our planet for our children? Maybe not unreasonable but certainly messy and even dangerous if we press too hard on individual liberties. I’m worried that we’re headed for a future of sharp restrictions. But we’re not there yet.

My energy saving tips are just that–tips. Recommendations. Not rules or laws. Life is too complicated for that. But the least we can do–and really, I think we can all get behind this–is to eliminate waste. If we stopped wasting energy, we could reduce our emissions by as much as 40% here in the United States.
